WORD OF MOUTH SPREADS TO FRIAR GATE STUDIOS
Mark Burrows, a familiar name from the World of radio has chosen Derby´s Friar Gate Studios as the new home for his business.
Together with business partner Andrew Upton, Mark launched Word of Mouth Creative in August of last year. The company specialises in audio projects, including radio commercials, voiceovers, announcements, soundtracks, podcasts and telephone system audio.
Before joining forces to launch their new business, Andrew was Head of Creative at Saga 106.6FM and Smooth Radio (East Midlands). Mark is a popular presenter on radio shows across the region and was the senior commercial producer for the SAGA Radio Group.
Both Mark and Andrew have 20 years professional experience working in radio and through Word of Mouth Creative. They have already delivered a series of high profile radio campaigns for English Heritage, Derbyshire County Council, The Royal Concert Hall, The Theatre Royal Nottingham, Crich Tramway Museum, and many radio concert trails for famous artists from Bruce Springsteen to St Petersburg Ballet!
Using their in house studio, Word of Mouth work with professional voice-over artists the world over, even serving stations in Sierra Leone!
In addition to their audio services and recording, Word of Mouth also provides a full service, from script clearance to music licensing and copywriting.
Commenting on their move to Friar Gate Studios, Mark said:

Friar Gate Studios were launched in Spring 2007 in response to the continued growth of the creative industries in the city and surrounding areas. The Studios offer stylish, modern office facilities for up to 40 businesses in the arts, design, media and other creative industries.
