LONDON WEB DESIGN COMPANY RELOCATES TO DERBY’S FRIAR GATE STUDIOS
A web design, software and database development company, which started life in London, has taken up residence at Friar Gate Studios, the home of Derby’s creative industries.
PH9 was established in 2006 by Rob Watson and operated from premises in South East London for a number of years. The company provides web design, software and database development to wide variety of clients including architects, antique dealers, authors, cosmetic surgeries, restaurants and museums.
After deciding that whilst he loved working with his London clients, the business didn’t need to be based there, Rob started the search for a location that would offer him a better quality of life, at the same time as having excellent transport links to London.
Derby appealed to Rob due to its strategic location and Friar Gate Studios on Ford Street was the perfect base for the business. PH9 has now embarked on the next phase of its expansion and has plans to recruitment several apprentices in the coming months.
