BOAST HELPS BOOST UK CORPORATE GAMES
A Derby company is encouraging local businesses to get involved in Europe’s largest corporate multi-sport festival.
Boast Sponsorship, which is based at Friar Gate Studios on Ford Street in the city, has teamed up with the organisers of the UK Corporate Games to help attract companies to take part in this year’s event.
4,000 competitors from more than 100 different companies took part in the last year’s events, which took place in Liverpool. This year’s games are taking place at Loughborough University from Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th July.
The games consist of 22 different sports such, football, cricket, rugby, hockey, golf, running, swimming and racket sports, as well as some rather more diverse sports such as, dragon boat racing, karting, tenpin bowling and poker.
Participants range from companies such as Vodafone, Asda and John Lewis, who all entered team of more than 200 competitors last year, to smaller companies with teams of just five or less.
The games are a great way to improve morale, build team spirit and support any health or well-being initiatives, as well as networking on a large and varied scale.
Boast is looking for companies who are interested in participating at the games, sponsoring one of the various elements of the games, or doing a combination of the two.
