Hot Desking is a cost effective way to benefit from the prestigious Friar Gate Studios address and facilities and is available to hire as and when you require, offering you a convenient base in Derby city when you need it. Hot Desking is an all inclusive package that offers individual creatives the flexibility to work from our offices and access other facilities such as WiFi, meeting rooms, reception services, café bar and many more.

Hot Desking is vastly becoming the new age of working for many people. Our package is ideal for new start growing companies who don’t mind sharing office facilities with other like-minded creatives in a similar position as themselves.  Hot Desking provides the creatives the ideal opportunity they need to network, bounce and share ideas with each other and work collaboratively without leaving their desk.

Friar Gate Studios provides an in-house IT/Telephony service which comes with ongoing support for Hot Deskers from Friar Gate Studios IT provider. The broadband provision of a 20Mb high speed internet through lease line and Watchguard Firewall allow creatives to upload and download large files within minutes safely.

The Hot Desking service is available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on Fridays. The package includes access to a PC, broadband, desk, chair, telephone line rental and handset. Hot Deskers are able to take advantage of promoting themselves on our website and digital screen in main reception foyer. They also have access to other benefits such as
